I was sitting at one of the cafes late last night, enjoying a cup of mint tea, mindless internet browsing, and the low-key atmosphere of the late Sunday that I have gotten used to. Around 9:30 pm the joy was interrupted by two guys getting a table next to me and contaminating the environment with discussing Series C funding, equity and customer retention.
There has to be a time during the weak when any such talk is prohibited for the sake of the finer (or simpler) things in life and not allowing to kill the moment. If we can’t get the whole Sabbath type, maybe at least half a day? Or at least a few hours a week which are holy and cannot be polluted with the industry talk?
