Blind Cashier

Today, I had the pleasure of observing an older and completely blind man working as a cashier at a cafeteria in Sacramento Superior Court. I watched him easily handling a long line of impatient lawyers, juror, and others. He was able to use the cash register without any difficulties and give correct change back every time. He also recognized the customers he knew by their voices. This kind of puts our little problems in perspective.

    • Certainly looks like it. He is so fast, efficient and good at what he does. If it hasn’t happened yet, he should be in some kind of show or at least a little clip in the news.
